美濃地方でとれた錆土という小石や鉄分の細かい塊が入った荒い原土を、
紐作りで成形した壷です。
冷却還元焼成で焼くことにより鉄分が大きく広がって面白い土味をだしています。
土も焼き締まっておらず水を漉してしまいますが、内側に水止めをしてあるため
花瓶として使えます。

This Sculpture is formed using the coiling technique from coarse raw clay containing small stones called rust clay and fine iron particles sourced from the Mino region.
Fired using a cooling reduction process, the iron particles spread widely, creating an intriguing earthen texture.
The clay is also not fired to a dense, water-retaining state and would simply allow water to seep through.
However, since the inside is waterproof, it can be used as a vase.
