美濃地方でとれた錆土という小石や鉄分の細かい塊が入った荒い原土を、 紐作りで成形したオブジェです。 冷却還元焼成で焼くことにより鉄分が大きく広がって面白い土味をだしています。 作品の上部に小さな穴が空いており壷と命名しましたが、穴も径が２ミリほどしかなく 花を入れることは不可能です。土も焼き締まっておらず、水を漉してしまいます。 細い茎のドライフラワーなら1輪入ります。 用途はなく焼き物の面白さを楽しんでもらうオブジェです。 W71.5 D23 H21cm 11200g It is a sculpture. Fired using a cooling reduction process, the iron particles spread widely, creating an intriguing earthen texture. A small hole is present at the top of the piece, leading to its naming as a "vase." However, the hole is only about 2mm in diameter, making it impossible to hold flowers. The clay is also not fired to a dense, water-retaining state and would simply allow water to seep through.
